How many of you have actually seen all the Jurassic Park movies in order? I know I haven’t and that's why I'm putting together this list for all of you! I know there’s a lot of these movies and it may be hard for you to want to sit and watch every single one in order, that’s why I will add a small snippet of what happens in each movie as well. Let's get to it!
Jurassic Park Movies in order list
1. Jurassic Park - In this movie, a scientist travels to the island of Isla Nubar to research the new thing that has been started with bringing dinosaurs back to life through Genetic modification. They arrive on the island through helicopter. Later in the movie a T-rex escapes its enclosure and the rest speaks for itself. This is actually a great start to the series of sci-fi horror/thriller movies. You get to see so many dinosaurs and learn a lot about some of them. It was first released in 1993.
2. Jurassic Park II - This one continues four years after the events of the first movie. You see the scientist known as Hammond, losing his company known as ingen. He somehow managed to keep isla sorna, his second island, where he continued to breed dinosaurs in secret. This one actually earn an Academy Award nomination
3. Jurassic Park III - This movie follows the character known as doctor Alan Grant, who is focusing mainly on observing velociraptors and their intelligence. He ends up getting an aerial tour, or sky view of the island, Isla Sorna. This one was actually the lowest grossing movie in the whole series, which means it didn’t get as much funding from the major pictures.
4. Jurassic World - This one was created in 2004, and was the third highest-grossing movie of its time. This was actually the first movie in all of the Jurassic park movies in order to introduce Chris Pratt. The events of the movie follow Owen Grady and his Velociraptor partner, Blue, trying to capture and enclose the Hybrid Dinosaur, the Indmionius Rex.
5. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - This one is supposedly four years after the events of Jurassic World. At the start of the movie you will see all the dinosaurs living peacefully without the interruption of humans, until the humans catch light of a very possible volcano eruption that was supposed to happen on the island. This one actually brings Jeff Golblume back for his iconic role from the first few movies, Ian Malcolm.
6. Jurassic World: Dominion - Once again, this one takes place another four years after the events of the previous movie. We see the dinosaurs roaming earth freely living among the humans, no more enclosures and they are found all over the world once again. This one has the original three characters from the first movie coming back and helping Owen Grady with whatever lies in store.
Unfortunately up to this date, this is the last installment of the Jurassic Park movies in order. Of course listed below are two spinoffs that have been created as well. Hopefully we will see more of the Jurassic Park world in the future with a couple new installments, but wishful thinking as they may just leave it where it’s at.

Battle of Big Rock is actually a short film following the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, it takes place after one year following those events, it is actually the first to show major confrontation between humans and dinosaurs This one actually follows the events of a family who happens to be on a camping trip a little too close to the site that Fallen Kingdom took place.
The other spinoff that I managed to find is actually on netflix. Though it is a kids show, it’s still pretty good. This netflix spinoff is known as Jurassic Park: Camp Cretaceous. Currently there are five seasons, though they plan on releasing a sixth very soon. This is an animated version of all the Jurassic Park movies in order, but with their own twist, characters, and story line. This one follows a group of young teenagers who were chosen to camp on isla nublar, most likely to research more about the dinosaurs and how they lived. I don’t have too much information about Camp Cretaceous, however if your kids like dinosaurs just as much as you do, give it a watch and leave a comment about your favorite parts, it seems to be worth checking out.
