The Gallimimus is an extinct dinosaur that looked like a big bird. They had feathers all over their body and a duck like beak. But in the cloned version on Isla Nubar they did not have any feathers at all. It was the biggest of all the ornithomimid dinosaurs being as tall as 6'6 feet (2 meters). They had no teeth and a very small head. They also had a very long neck. The males had a bright orange colour and some patterns of red while the females had a more peachy colour. Juveniles were mostly mossy green.

They are omnivorous and eats everything from very small animals to beetles and even plants. They have no teeth so they cannot hunt larger prey. They are a rather passive creature, having a walk and run like an ostrich they are very fast runners. Maybe even one of the fastest dinosaurs which makes it easier for them to run away rather than defend themself. But if they were to be attacked they can also extend their arms and do some vocalisations to try to scare away the predator. They are social creatures, living in flocks or herds.

 

They lived in what is now called Mongolia in the late Cretaceous era around 66 million years ago. 24 creatures were brought to Isla Nubar in 1993. But they had a hard time with the islands Tyrannosaur rex and in 1994 there were only 9 left after escaping their paddock.
