The deinochys is one of the first raptors to be discovered. It is known from its feather like coat and its razor claws. Being nearly as big as the average human at 1,7 meters or 5'5 feet. Weighting up to 73 kilos it was a quick and agile dinosaur. It has a skull that has 70 knife like teeth. They had quite big hands with a feather coated arm. They had 3 razor claws on each hand. 2 toes on each foot with one extra razor sharp claw used to tear through the skin of its prey.

They strictly eat meat and prey on other dinosaurs. They are fast and agile which makes them excellent hunters. They mostly use their claws on tear the prey apart when they hunt but they can also use their teeth and do much damage with them. It is not entirely known if they are social animals and live in pack or not. But it is widely believed they hunt in group at least to take down larger animals.

 

They lived exclusively in the US. Having a range from Montana to Maryland. Its suggested that they mostly lived close to swamps or other water surrounded areas.
